The Course
As a Certified Diver you will already have discovered that diving is great fun, exciting and adventurous. You will also know that there is much more enjoyment to be had from experiencing new diving activities & diving in new locations. The PADI Adventure Diver and the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver courses allow you to incorporate exciting new dives such as wreck, deep and photography with learning new skills, enhancing your knowledge and confidence, whilst giving you a taste of PADI Specialty courses. Pre-Requisites * PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification from another training agency) * All students must complete the PADI Medical Questionnaire prior to participation. * Minimum age is 12. Children between the ages of 12 & 15 will be awarded the PADI Junior Certification.
Course Content
The course consists of a knowledge development session, skills practice & Open Water dives. The emphasis during this course is placed on practical application rather than long classroom based presentations, you learn about diving by diving.
Knowledge Development
Knowledge Development is based on a self-study method, allowing you to study in your own time, at your own pace. Home study is backed up by an academic session with a PADI Instructor, to ensure full understanding of diving theory. Open Water Dives For certification as a PADI Adventure Diver you must complete 3 of the following dives. During the PADI Advanced Open Water course you will make two 'core' dives; Underwater Navigation Dive & Deep Dive plus a choice of 3 of the following dives.
